  • Science Teacher Education Program: STEP is a professional development program designed to increase Alaska teachers' science content knowledge, improve understanding of how to align instruction and assessment with Alaska Science Grade Level Expectations (GLEs), and help K-12 teachers prepare students to meet Alaska State Science Standard. The STEP Lesson Bank provides a centralized source of scientifically accurate, classroom tested, engaging science lessons for K-12 teachers aligned to the GLEs.
